Do you have a story to share ?

Then come along to the Moorland Discovery Centre, Longshaw on the 20th April, 7pm-9pm and take part in the 'Moor Memories' workshop.
Moors for the Future (in Edale) are currently running an oral history project collecting memories of the moors in and around the Peak District. We’re interested in hearing from anybody who has used the moors for work (such as game keepers, farmers and forestry or water company workers) or leisure (including climbers and walkers) and has a story that they’d like to share.
It’s free for everybody to come along, no need to book in advance, tea and coffee will be provided. The Moorland Discovery Centre has disabled access and a downstairs toilet.
